What should I say after a month of interruption

It’s been almost a month without any updates, 11.24-12.22

But when I went back to studying the actual records of Emperor Wu Zongyi of the Ming Dynasty (which I didn’t finish this time), some relevant historical materials of Ming officials, and finally finished reading Mr. Ma Boyong’s “Fifteen Days in Two Capitals”, and then looked back at my writing, I realized that I had made two big mistakes.
Writing history cannot avoid a problem, OOC, We descendants can understand a person from fragments and scattered words of history, but we can never let them speak again and have a clear understanding of what they were thinking when making every decision. As authors, we can fit that character infinitely, but we cannot achieve reality.
Once the love for the character is added, the author may have unlimited tolerance for the character, and they will no longer be a pure historical figure, but a “beloved pet character” in the author’s writing. Some may even blindly show their “goodness” and endlessly put away their “evil”, putting in many settings, ultimately just a little bit of the author’s selfishness.

And this is one of my biggest mistakes. I undoubtedly immersed myself in emotions, but deviated from my original intention of writing a “historical drama”, even though the name of “The Ancestor I Like” with fantasy elements sounds very inappropriate.
Is it both appropriate and appropriate to write history and add fan fiction … It is worth reflecting on for a moment
The focus of ‘The Ancestor I Like’ is still on ‘me’, with the male lead being Zhu Houzhao.
What kind of Zhu Houzhao do I want to write?
Zhao Ge is quite dark, half of him is self blackening, and the other half is being blacked out. In junior high school, I came into contact with the history of the Ming Dynasty, and even though I had the initial impression created by “The Ming Dynasty”, I still fell in love with him at first glance. Zhu Houzhao, who is both a legitimate historian and a folk historian, is a character with mixed reviews. Compared to his father Zhu Youzhu, who is known for his wisdom (which is disputed here), his personality is simply not biological, and he can be justified – who let Zhao Ge be the eldest son and the only prince favored from childhood to adulthood.
He is absurd and playful; He is intelligent and clever; He favors eunuchs and spoils sycophants; He highly values loyal ministers and enablers; He delays political affairs, disregards the right path, forcibly takes away women from the people, and indulges in excessive leisure activities; He is skilled in poetry and painting, skilled in horseback riding and archery, extraordinary in strategy, and skilled in diplomacy …..
The historical records are full of contradictions, and many of them are still questionable, but people are just so complex. Who taught him such a complex way of living? The prince who grew up in the palace naturally needs to have contact with the best teachers and his own intelligence. But his personality is too distinct. Among the sixteen elders in the Zhu family, he can really play second to none.
Zhao Ge is too free. Many people commented that he shouldn’t be an emperor. If he were just a teenager from an ordinary family, he wouldn’t be able to make such a fuss. Being in the highest position, he doesn’t know about the hardships of the people. There is also a ‘Zheng Wang Yaoyao Case’ in Zhao Ge’s background, which has made the relationship between Empress Dowager Zhang and Zhao Ge so delicate that Zhao Ge has not voluntarily returned to the Forbidden City since entering the Leopard House in the second year of Zhengde. Another issue that needs to be interpreted is the “dark cloud” surrounding the civil servant group during the reign of Emperor Zhengde. It can be confirmed that the imperial power was still able to lead the civil servant group, and it did not reach the point where the imperial power was almost non-existent in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.
I don’t want to favor the absurd side of Brother Zhao, such as taking his pregnant little lady back to the leopard house, playing too extravagantly until he collapsed with his favorite courtiers, being advised by the court not to go out and getting beaten to death in anger, and finally falling into the water to play with Lele… I am also willing to reveal more positive things about him, such as his ambitious aspirations, ambitious plans for navigation, fulfilling his ancestors’ dreams of opening up new territories, the undeniable victory in Yingzhou, and the great cause of patrolling the border …..
He seems to have been breaking through the boundaries of rules all his life. People insist on dragging him to his seat, but he retreats outside the hall and stands on his hips, cursing. Isn’t he sitting in that seat obediently? I’m not the emperor anymore? Perhaps Brother Zhao was supposed to be a ruler in a chaotic era like on the eighth day of the eighth lunar month, or a warrior emperor like Judy, wielding a sword and wielding it at once. However, he was born in the middle of the great court where the country had already become a place to be guarded, trapped in a royal city.
When I make a fuss, I will make a fuss. I will make a fuss as I like. It will make people feel painful and others dare not ignore it. It will become “others laugh at me for being too crazy, and I laugh at others for being unable to see through it”. When I came to the end of my life, I squatted on the top of the Ming Building in Kangling and looked down at the world. I read the words of Master Yang’s poem about the moon:
——How many things in ancient and modern times are discussed with laughter——
At the age of thirty-one, having reigned for sixteen years without a queen, Zhu Houzhao ranked third from the bottom among the sixteen supreme ages of the Zhu family.
The previous events were all my fault, beyond your ability to predict
Behind this sentence is the photo brother I want to write.
Once confirmed, go ahead and do it. No one can stop me. As for any past mistakes, they can be attributed to me.
Speaking of the role of “ancestor” in “The Ancestor I Like”, Zhu Zhanji is the second male lead/supporting male (actually a pseudo double male lead but not many).
I was able to choose Zhu Zhanji because of Zhu Houzhao, which can be considered a kind of love for both the house and the wood. Looking at the Sixteen Emperors of the Ming Dynasty, there are only two who have had a good start and destiny like Zhu Houzhao. If Zhen Ge’er personally leads the expedition and returns victorious, I may really put Zhao Ge’er and Zhen Ge’er together for careful attention Unfortunately, there is no ‘if’.
Then there is only this great grandfather, the great grandson, the eldest son of the crown prince, Zhu Zhanji.
Xuanzong’s Chronicles were originally intended to continue reading Wuzong’s Chronicles, but in the end, not only did Zhao Ge not finish reading them, but Zhan Ji also (in fact, he had no intention) could not read them at all, so he turned to reading “Fifteen Days in Two Capitals”.
My biggest mistake two is that Zhu Zhanji in my writing is not a historical fan, but rather ™ My film and television fans and my original works.
It should not be about indulging in food, nor should it be about the grandeur of the Ming Dynasty. It is acceptable to set up a table based on form, but one should never use emptiness to conceal reality After all, when I first watched the drama ‘The Great Ming Dynasty’, I even felt that the image of Zhu Zhanji was more like Zhu Houzhao. Zhao Ge had a ‘majestic appearance’ and the portrait was thin and long, while his grandfather had a ‘red and black face and a body as strong as a tiger’ from the portrait. Several of the music scenes were actually white faced. Overall, it can be concluded that his grandfather Zhanji was an emperor with a perfect warrior figure who easily tanned.
Because Zhanji initially designed to set off supporting role in the article, he only used similar events of Zhao Ji as a gimmick, the same vassal rebellion, the same imperial expedition and victory, the same out of the palace tour (referring to a minister’s home to play, Yang Shiqi:?? Yang Yiqing:!!), the same kind of good painting, the same martial arts, the same love of play – just a famous preference for promoting weaving, and a famous for fighting leopards and tigers ……
Whether it’s similar or dissimilar, Zhao’s succession to the throne went smoothly, while Zhan Ji’s On the day of Gengchen in May, Emperor Renzong was not in a hurry, so he was summoned by imperial seal to return. On the day of Xinchou in June, he returned to Liangxiang and received a posthumous edict to enter the palace for mourning. On the day of Gengxu, he ascended to the throne. The anxiety during his fifteen day journey was something that Zhao Ge, who had successfully ascended to the throne, could not experience.
The reason why it is said to be original is that Zhan Ji’s role in the text should be contradictory, and the control group should have the momentum of the control group. However, according to the current plot development, it seems to be somewhat vulgar.
So when I read ‘Fifteen Days in Two Capitals’, I suddenly realized what kind of personality Zhu Zhanji should have had in history?
When facing a beloved woman, the Supreme Body gives as it pleases; Facing the rebellious second uncle, he was sentenced to death by grilling at will; Faced with the invasion from the north, he put on his armor and rode on a horse, saying that he was an imperial carriage, and then personally launched an expedition; Faced with my hobby of taking pleasure, I have issued a decree to collect crickets nationwide as soon as possible …..
Is it absurd?
It’s also a form of freedom.
This is one of the inspirations for me to write ‘The Ancestor I Like’: Zhu Zhanji is a replica of Zhu Houzhao who knows the rules of advance and retreat, and Zhu Houzhao is a replica of Zhu Zhanji who completely unleashes himself. They are the opposite of each other’s’ similarity ‘.
At the age of 36 and after ten years on the throne, if there is a “legacy of the great grandfather” in Zhao Ge’s personality, then Zhan Ji is a talented emperor who was taught by his grandfather, Emperor Taizong Judy. Judy, on the other hand, has always looked forward to his father’s eighth birthday. In summary, these four people are somewhat evenly matched??
Two mistakes, also contradictory, the hesitation of deviating from the original intention and standing still, deviating from the persona, made me distressed for a while after reading “The Fifteen Days of Two Capitals”.
After a lot of rambling, the conclusion drawn is that perhaps the article needs a major revision, a new name to chase after the original intention, or a careful consideration of the development of the plot later on.
Excellent
